What is kept, and where

This covers both halves of Delvewright: this homepage, and the editor at delvewright.app. Neither has accounts, and neither has ads.

What is recorded

Both sites count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Each time a page loads, it notes:

• Which page you opened, and the hostname you opened it on
• The site you arrived from, if you followed a link
• Your country, worked out from your IP address at the moment of the request
• Your browser and operating system
• Whether you are on a desktop, a phone, or a tablet
• How the page was loaded, and how long it took to render

The result is a count of visits, with nothing in it that identifies you. There are no cookies and nothing is stored on your machine, so there is no banner to click.

Your maps

The editor runs in your browser. Maps and settings are saved in that browser's own storage, on your machine. There is no server holding a copy, and nothing you build is uploaded anywhere.

To delete them: the Storage tab in Settings removes every saved map, and clearing site data for delvewright.app removes the settings too. Nothing brings either back, so a file you exported yourself is the only backup you have.

Who else is involved

Cloudflare, and nobody else. Cloudflare Pages serves both sites and needs your IP address to know where to send them.
